EDTA Chelation
A chelating treatment for confirmed heavy-metal poisoning. It is not a wellness infusion, and it is not offered as one.
About this infusion
Edetate disodium binds metal ions so they can be passed out in the urine. This preparation supplies 1,500 mg of it with 100 mg of procaine — a short-acting local anaesthetic, to reduce discomfort at the vein during a slow infusion — alongside magnesium and a B-complex base.
Chelation is different in kind from everything else on this list. It is a treatment with a specific indication, given slowly, with blood tests before and after, and only where a doctor has decided it is indicated.

What the evidence says
EDTA binds calcium as well as heavy metals, and lowering calcium too quickly can be fatal — deaths have been reported from chelation given carelessly, which is why it is infused slowly and under supervision. Its use outside confirmed heavy-metal poisoning is not established, and this clinic does not offer it for anything else. Because EDTA binds calcium, blood calcium and kidney function are checked before and around treatment — a raised or falling calcium is a clinical event in its own right.1
