C-section: AED 12,500 · 2 nights / 3 days
Instalments: 25% down, then AED 820 a month
What it is
A delivery package is a fixed price for the birth. Smart Care is an outpatient clinic, so the birth takes place in hospital — at a partner hospital in Dubai, with Dr. Rasheeda J. Bhavnagarwala performing the delivery. Rather than paying the hospital in one amount near your due date, you pay the clinic in instalments through the pregnancy, and your antenatal visits, scans and blood tests carry on at the clinic as normal.
Two packages, both with follow-up care included. A normal delivery (AED 7,000, 1 night / 2 days in hospital) or a caesarean section (AED 12,500, 2 nights / 3 days). Both include a free gynaecology follow-up within a month of the birth, and a free paediatrician follow-up for your baby within a month.
Start early to spread the cost. The 25% down payment is made in the first trimester — ideally by the end of the second month — followed by AED 820 a month. Already in your second or third trimester? Contact us and we will discuss instalment options with you.
Prices and payment plans
Normal delivery — AED 7,000. 25% down payment of 1,750 AED, then 6 × AED 820 a month, then a final AED 330.
Caesarean section — AED 12,500. 25% down payment of 3,125 AED, then 6 × AED 820 a month, with the remaining AED 4,455 paid before delivery.
When to start. The down payment is made in the first trimester, ideally by the end of the second month, so the instalments are spread across the pregnancy. Already in your second or third trimester? Contact us and we will discuss instalment options with you.
What both packages include
Delivery by Dr. Rasheeda J. Bhavnagarwala, our obstetrician-gynaecologist, at a partner hospital in Dubai.
1 free gynaecology follow-up after the birth, within 1 month.
1 free paediatrician follow-up for your baby, within 1 month.
The follow-ups matter. The weeks after the birth are when recovery, feeding and your baby's first checks happen — both visits are included, so they are not left to chance.
How it works, step by step
1. Choose your package. At your antenatal appointment the gynaecologist explains the normal and caesarean packages and which suits your pregnancy.
2. Pay the 25% down payment in the first trimester, ideally by the end of the second month.
3. Pay monthly through the clinic — AED 820 a month, with any remaining balance cleared before delivery.
4. We arrange the hospital booking and pass on your antenatal records, so the administration is done before you go into labour.
5. You deliver at a partner hospital in Dubai, then come back for your free follow-up and your baby's free paediatrician check.
What the package covers, and what it does not
The package covers what it lists, and nothing more. Anything outside it is billed by the hospital and paid by you directly to the hospital. That can include extra nights in hospital, care for the baby in a neonatal unit, additional tests or medicines, or a change of plan such as an emergency caesarean section when a normal delivery was booked. The gynaecologist goes through the inclusions with you before you choose, so the common extras are known in advance.
Who looks after you
Specialist obstetrician-gynaecologists provide antenatal care at the clinic, with ultrasound in the consultation. Dr Rasheeda J. Bhavnagarwala also performs normal deliveries, caesarean sections and other obstetric and gynaecological surgery in hospital. After the birth, your follow-up is with the gynaecologist and your baby's check is with our paediatrician.
