Questions people ask
Do I need a consultation before an aesthetic treatment?
Yes, always. Every plan starts with a doctor assessing your skin, your medical history and what you want to change. That consultation is also where you are told what will not help, which is as useful as what will.
How much downtime is there?
It varies by treatment. Facials and skin boosters generally let you go back to your day; injectables can leave small marks or swelling for a day or two; microneedling leaves the skin pink for longer. Your doctor will tell you what to expect before you book.
How soon will I see a change?
That depends on the treatment and on you. Fillers change contour on the day, anti-wrinkle injections develop over about two weeks, and collagen-stimulating treatments work over months. Results vary from one individual to another.
Are the treatments reversible?
Some are. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved; anti-wrinkle injections wear off on their own over three to four months. Others, including energy-based and collagen-stimulating treatments, are not reversible, which is why suitability is settled at the consultation.
Who performs the treatments?
DHA-licensed doctors, not therapists — with the exception of laser hair removal, which is delivered by our laser therapist under medical supervision. The clinician for each treatment is named on its page.
Is it suitable if I have never had anything done before?
Yes, and it is worth saying that a first consultation often ends with skincare and a plan rather than a procedure. Nothing is done on the day unless you have had time to decide.
