Questions people ask
Is the dental consultation really free?
Yes. The examination and treatment plan cost nothing, and a fee only applies once you and the dentist agree on treatment. Every price is published per tooth, per arch or per session before you decide.
How often should I have a dental check-up?
Every six months suits most people. Your dentist may suggest more often if you have gum disease, a high decay risk, or wear braces or aligners.
What should I expect from teeth whitening?
The dentist first checks your teeth and gums and what is causing the staining. Some sensitivity during and shortly after treatment is common and settles, and the shade you reach depends on your starting shade.
Do you see dental emergencies on the same day?
Yes, where a slot is free. Toothache, a broken tooth, a lost filling or swelling should be called through early in the day so we can fit you in.
Root canal or extraction — how is that decided?
It depends on how much sound tooth is left, whether the root and surrounding bone are healthy, and what you want long term. An X-ray at the consultation shows which options are genuinely available, and both are priced on the page.
Can dental treatment be spread over several visits?
Yes. Treatment can be phased to suit your schedule and budget, and the dentist will tell you which parts are urgent and which can wait.
Do you treat nervous patients?
Yes. Longer appointments can be booked so nothing is rushed, and the dentist will explain each step before doing it. Tell reception when you book so the time is set aside.
