What is Jalupro?
Jalupro combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids — the raw material the skin uses to build collagen. It is a bio-revitalisation treatment for skin that has become thin, dull or finely lined, and one of the few boosters commonly used in the delicate area under the eyes.
A morphometric study of the same combination measured a significant increase in skin hydration on both sides of the face, alongside reductions in jaw-angle width and the marionette wrinkle scale.1
It does not lift and it does not fill hollows. It works on the quality of the skin itself, so if volume is the problem a filler is the honest answer.
How it works
The solution is delivered through a series of very fine microinjections across the treatment area. The amino acids give fibroblasts the building blocks for new collagen, while the hyaluronic acid hydrates immediately. A typical course is four sessions spaced one to two weeks apart, because the effect is cumulative rather than immediate.

Expected results

Who it may suit
Often suggested for people in their thirties and beyond with fine crêpey lines, thin skin or a dull complexion — particularly under the eyes, where fillers are not always appropriate. Dark circles caused by pigment or by genuine hollowing need a different approach, which the consultation will identify.
Side effects & aftercare

- Skip makeup on the treated area for the rest of the day and avoid heat treatments for twenty-four hours.

Only sometimes. If the darkness comes from thin, crêpey skin then improving skin quality helps. If it comes from pigmentation or from true hollowing under the eye, Jalupro is the wrong tool and your doctor will say which one fits.
The amino acids work by feeding an ongoing repair process, so the result is cumulative. A single session gives hydration; the structural improvement comes from the full course.
Profhilo is pure hyaluronic acid and is best for laxity and hydration over larger areas. Jalupro adds amino acids and is favoured for thin, finely lined skin and for the under-eye area.
