What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy delivers a tailored cocktail of vitamins, minerals, hyaluronic acid and peptides into the upper layers of the skin, where topical products struggle to reach in any meaningful quantity. The mix is chosen for your skin at the consultation.
A review of hyaluronic acid-based mesotherapy in the dermatology literature concluded it is a favourable method for skin rejuvenation, with two caveats worth knowing before you book: precise placement in the right layer of the dermis is what determines the result, and keeping that result requires maintenance every few months rather than one course.1
The same technique is used on the scalp to support hair that has started to thin, which is priced and explained separately.
How it works
A series of very superficial microinjections is placed across the treatment area, either by hand or with a mesotherapy device that keeps the depth consistent. The ingredients sit where they can be used directly by the skin, and the micro-injuries themselves prompt a mild repair response. A course of four to six sessions two to four weeks apart is usual, followed by maintenance.

Expected results
Changes in tone and texture develop gradually across the course, and vary from person to person. Scalp mesotherapy is slower still — hair cycles mean three to six months before any change can be judged fairly.
Who it may suit
Suggested for dull, tired or uneven skin, and for early hair thinning where the cause has been assessed. Because the formulation is bespoke, existing conditions and allergies are reviewed carefully before anything is mixed.
Side effects & aftercare
Individual responses vary — the team explains everything before treatment and is one message away after it.
- Expect pinprick marks and light redness for a few hours; some people bruise slightly.
- Leave the skin bare for the rest of the day and avoid actives such as retinoids or acids for forty-eight hours.
- No swimming, sauna or heavy exercise for twenty-four hours.
- Tell the clinic about any allergy history before the session — the mix is adjusted, not standard.
Frequently asked questions
It depends on what your skin needs — typically hyaluronic acid with a combination of vitamins, antioxidants and peptides. Your doctor will tell you exactly what is in your mix and why before you agree to it.
It can support thinning hair where follicles are still active, and it is usually one part of a plan rather than the whole answer. Hair loss has many causes, so blood tests and an examination come first.
Skin brightness often shows early, within the first couple of sessions. Anything structural — texture, tone, hair — needs the full course and a few months of patience.
