About the Smart Extra Health

Smart Extra Health is the widest of the three at 79 tests, adding vitamin B12, iron, magnesium, an H. pylori stool test and a hormone check — testosterone for men, prolactin for women — on top of everything in the Total package. Electrolytes are included with the renal panel, as they are in all three. One caveat on the hormone check, said before you read the number rather than after: a low testosterone needs a morning sample and confirmation on a second test before it means anything1, and a mildly raised prolactin is commonly caused by stress, medication or the blood draw itself.2
