The baseline screen: 59 parameters covering blood count, thyroid, cholesterol, liver, kidney, vitamin D and 3-month blood sugar, with a GP to go through them. Walk in during opening hours — no appointment needed.
About the Smart Essential Health
Smart Essential Health is our entry-level screen: 59 parameters covering blood count, thyroid, cholesterol, liver and kidney function, electrolytes, urine, vitamin D and blood sugar, with a general consultation to go through what comes back. It is the package to start with if you have not had bloods done in a while and want a baseline rather than an investigation of a specific symptom. The blood sugar result is read against the American Diabetes Association thresholds1, the cholesterol against the joint ACC/AHA guideline2, and the vitamin D against Endocrine Society guidance — deficiency being common enough in the UAE to be worth measuring.3

Who it suits
Adults wanting a routine baseline check. If you have a particular symptom — persistent tiredness, hair loss, high blood sugar — one of the targeted lab panels may fit better, and reception can point you at the right one.
