What is Hair Mesotherapy?
Hair mesotherapy delivers a tailored blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid into the scalp through fine micro-injections, nourishing the environment around the follicles.
We would rather you saw the evidence than a summary of it. A randomised controlled trial compared scalp mesotherapy directly against topical 5% minoxidil in male pattern hair loss. It found a significant improvement in hair shaft diameter within the mesotherapy group, but no significant advantage over minoxidil on the other measures — the authors' own conclusion.1
A wider review of injectable scalp treatments reports benefit, particularly with dutasteride, while calling the evidence limited by small samples and short follow-up.2
So this is offered alongside proven treatments, not as a replacement for them, and the consultation will say exactly that.
How it works
After a scalp assessment, a customised nutrient cocktail is applied through a series of shallow micro-injections across the thinning areas.

Expected results
Typically a course of sessions 1–2 weeks apart at first, then spaced out; improvements in shedding and hair feel build gradually.
Who it may suit
Those with early thinning, shedding, or a scalp that needs support — assessed by the doctor, who may combine it with PRP.
Side effects & aftercare
Individual responses vary — the team explains everything before treatment and is one message away after it.
- Avoid washing the scalp until the next day
- Skip heat styling, saunas, and heavy exercise for 24 hours
- Be gentle with brushing over the treated areas for a day or two
Frequently asked questions
PRP uses your own concentrated platelets; mesotherapy delivers a vitamin and nutrient blend. They target the same goal differently and are often combined.
The injections are shallow and the needles very fine, so most people describe brief pinpricks rather than pain. Numbing cream is available, and a session takes twenty to thirty minutes.
Hair cycles are slow. Scalp comfort often improves within the first few sessions, while any change in shedding or thickness is judged over three to six months rather than weeks.
